Over the last couple of years the popularity of Fiverr has exploded. The website has been quite the sensation ever since it opened its doors but it has become a multinational phenomenon in the past 1 year. As it popularity grows, more and more people are turning to Fiverr in hopes to makes some extra money, whether to pay off some bills, supplement their income or just get paid for what they love doing.
Making money on Fiverr has a lot of potential as the traffic that the website brings is huge and you can sell almost any product or service. However, as with anything in life, Fiverr has its shortcomings.
For one, you can only charge $5 which is not a bad deal in general but it does not give you a lot of earning potential. In addition, Fiverr takes away 20% of that as commission so you are only left with $4 per gig so in order to make some serious profit, you need to really step it up on the volume which is not always possible.
Given the website’s the popularity and the shortcomings, a lot of Fiverr alternatives have come to life. These websites are a lot like Fiverr (some of them have even copied the website design) but they do offer a little of a different experience so they might be worth checking out.
Here is list of the top websites like Fiverr:
Fiverr Alternative #1 – GigBucks
Gigbucks looks and feels almost likve Fiverr. The main difference, and what makes them so popular, is the fact that they allow you to charge anywhere between $5 and $50 so your earning potential is technically greater. The site is not as popular as the original but it can be used in addition to Fiverr for some extra income.
Fiverr Alternative#2 – Zeerk
Zeerk is another Fiverr clone in terms of design and the idea is the same with the only difference that you can charge between $2 and $100 per gig. It is nowhere near as popular as GigBucks but if you can get only gig for $100, it will be as if you got 20 on Fiverr so it might be worth checking out depending on what you are offering.
Fiverr Alternative #3 – SEO Clerks
This one is a little bit more specialized around SEO and online marketing in general so I had to put it last on the list. If your offer is internet marketing related, it is a place to check out. If your product/service is of a more general scope, stick with top 2.
What is listed above are the top 3 sites like Fiverr. There are literally tens, if not hundreds, of other clones but they are not as popular so I would not recommend you waste your time with them, at least for the time being. If you however are curious to check them out, here is a pretty extensive list (in no particular order).
Even between Fiverr and all the listed alternatives, you might find that it is quite a task to make a sizable income with gigs. If you want to replace your income and make a full time living online, you’ll need a better (ideally proven) system that can pay you recurring income and it is easy to implement. Check out one such system that has made it possible for everyone and anyone to make a good income online, regardless of their skill level – click here.
